Dehydrated, homemade dog treats are a fantastic way to provide your furry friend with healthy, preservative-free snacks. These treats are not only nutritious but also easy to make, allowing you to tailor them to your dog's specific dietary needs.

First and foremost our dehydrated chicken chews are preservative free making them a much healthier option than store bought treats that likely contain artificial preservatives and additives. Dehydration preserves essential nutrients in the ingredients, ensuring your dog gets the maximum nutritional benefit.  Another benefit is that properly dehydrated treats can last for a long time without refrigeration, making them convenient for storage and travel.

We start by thinly slicing the chicken for even dehydration, making sure any fat is trimmed away.  We set our dehydrator to a temperature that takes 8-12 hours typically for a batch to make sure it comes out dry and crisp! We make sure the internal temp of the chicken gets to where all the harmful bacteria is killed.  We make these in small batches for every few orders that come in so they will be fresh and delicious for your pups. These are a great treat for their simplicity but, as with all treats, they should be given in moderation to prevent weight gain.
