Snake Plant, also called Mother's Tongue, or it's official name of Sansevieria Trifasciata. These guys, although slow growing, are hard to kill. They can handle low light but actually I put mine outside in the summer and that's what got me the baby offshoots so they like sun too. Great starter plant for the newbies and a dramatic look with their tall standing, stiff leaves.
Lighting: Prefer low to medium light but are surprisingly versatile and can handle indirect bright sunlight as well
Watering: Water every 4-5 weeks usually. It likes to dry out thoroughly between drinks.
