Crassula ovata, commonly known as Jade plant, are low maintenance house plants that are considered symbols of good luck! Also known as the Friendship Tree! This leads to their opularity as perfect gifts for house warming presents and other celebrated holidays. With their thick, woody stems and oval-shaped leaves, jade plants have a miniature, tree-like appearance that makes them very appealing for use as a decorative houseplant. They are a succulent so hold water in thier leaves, meaning overwatering them can be easy so don't have a heavy hand there. They live for a very long time, often being passed down from generation to generation and reaching heights of three feet or more when grown indoors. They are low maintenance really so perfect for any busy home or office to just add some "green".
Jade's do best with full sun to filtered sun. They can grow out leggy or oddly without enough sunlight.
Jade Plants should be watered relatively infrequently, as the plants like to dry out some between watering. Do NOT let it completely dry out though.
