Plants for Work

Despite our love for the outdoors, many employees spend their days in dull indoor office environments. Adding a few plants into any work environment from corporate offices to a simple work desk can have many benefits. When choosing plants for offices, it's important to select those that thrive in warm environments, can survive in low-light or even flourescent light situations, and are as low-maintenance as possible for those busy times when the last thing anyone is thinking about is watering the office plants. You may also want to consider a plants growth rate and how large the plant will end up in full adulthood to avoid having to prune or maintenance constantly to avoid a plant growing into the aisle or intrude into other spaces. But the benefits can be vast as adding greenery can boost creativity, productivity and general mood at the office.
