It goes by many names around the World, popularly known as Devil’s Ivy or Money Plant
Plant Care Tips
Watering:
Pothos plants are very forgiving on the watering front and very flexible in general with needs. It is best to keep them on the dry side for the most part, letting it dry out almost completely between waterings.
Lighting:
These guys can survive in low light conditions which is one reason for their popularity but if you really want them to grow and thrive they need a good amount of sunlight, mainly indirect. Too long in direct sunlight and they will scorch the leaves.
Temperature:
Golden Pothos enjoy moderate room temperatures of 65 -75 but they do love high humidity if possible making them perfect for bathrooms and laundry rooms as long as there is enough sunlight.
Soil Medium:
Again these guys are very simple and can do fine in a basic, store bought houseplant soil at any local store.
Different types of Pothos available:
Marble Queen is a varietal with an exceptionally attractive white-and-green variegated patterns typically. It requires more light than most pothos to maintain its unique coloring however so you need a good spot for it
Pearls and Jade is a varietal is an avid white and green climber, but instead of striping, the colors of gray, green, and white show boldly around the perimeter of the leaves.
Neon Pothos are bright chartreuse variety, this pothos needs less light and is great for brightening up a dark area in your home.
Silver Satin can be a stunning choice. This varietal has thick gray-green leaves with silver splotches all over them. It is tolerant of drought and low-light conditions for the most part as well.
