Seafood Medley Cat Nibbles

Our seafood medley cat bites are made with sardines, salmon, tuna and dried mint.

Cut to approximately 1" treat and baked to a golden giving it a great crunch. We offer these treats both with or without cat nip. Typically cat nip will enhance excitement and enjoyment for your cat. You may see an increased Interest because catnip contains nepetalactone, a compound that can trigger excitement and playfulness in many cats. Including it in treats can make them more appealing and provide mental stimulation. You may also witness enhanced playfulness as cats may become more active and engage in playful behaviors when they smell or consume catnip, making treat time an enjoyable experience.

Now without catnip there is stlll plenty of standard appeal as our treats are well made and tasty.

Catnip promotes exercise so your cats may be more inclined to play and exercise, which can contribute to maintaining a healthy weight and overall well-being. And there is a behavioral benefit in that the stimulating effects of catnip can help alleviate boredom and encourage cats to engage in healthy play, reducing negative behaviors like scratching furniture.

Without catnip you will see more normal and stable energy levels. Cats without the influence of catnip might remain calmer, which could be beneficial if your cat is already quite active or easily overstimulated.

Catnip can also have calming effects. After the initial excitement, catnip can have a calming effect on some cats, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. And using catnip as a reward in treats can help reinforce positive behaviors and create a comforting routine.

If you choose to have us prepare the treats WITH catnip just remember individual reactions can vary. Not all cats respond to catnip, and some may not be affected by it at all. It's important to observe your cat's reaction and adjust accordingly. And like any treat, moderation is key. Overconsumption of catnip can lead to mild digestive upset. These treats should never substitute for your cat's actual meal. It should instead be a very small percentage of your cat's daily intake. So we use catnip in our homemade cat treats because it can enhance your cat's enjoyment, encourage healthy play, and offer natural stress relief. However, it's essential to tailor your approach to your cat's individual preferences and needs and if you don't want the treats made with catnip just check the NO box when you order and the treats will be catnip free.
